It's time to get civilized and have a car that does more than just accelerate.  The ability to randomly dart from lane to lane under full throttle conditions is a little hairy on back country roads. Better handling is my main goal rather then ending up in a ditch or worse, clipping a cow on a back country Texas road...

So the time has come to break the bank and start a G-Machine \ Pro Touring build. I'm actually going to call it Rat Touring. Your heard it here at the BBG Garage. That's where not so perfect muscle cars that still have rust, dings, nasty undercoating, misaligned body panels, and are in a general state of change  -  get tons of new billet and tubular goodies... This will be a drive it like you stole it 69 F Body.

A full rear suspension complete with new Moser 12 Bolt and updated rear brakes build will happen next year after I dipped in to the kids college fund this year. Ooops. That is unless the 10Bolt gives up...

The painful part of disassembly is removing good stock stuff - trying to find homes for half this stuff is nutz. The scrap pile is looking pretty good right about now with my limited garage storage. Tons of shinny new parts are on the way and the new build is going to consist of the following:

Speed Tech Performance Pro Touring Suspension  which consist of Upper \ Lower control Arms and QA1 Coilovers (550Lbs) and Speed Tech Performance ATS AFX Aluminum Spindles - Why be stock? Their site is www.speedtechperformance.com

Kore3 Industries C5 \ C6 325MM Big Brake kit. I've opted for the Red C5 calipers with the "Corvette" logo - gotta pay tribute to my other favorite car in the garage. If you are doing a similar build call Tobin Knighton at 1-800-357-5467 - the guy is a wealth of knowledge.
